On July 5th, Haier sent a batch of much-needed home appliances as well as teaching aids to the welfare house with nearly 150 children, at the same time held a special birthday party for the children whose birthdays are nearby. In April this year, Haier launched a worldwide public welfare activity, "Meet Global Haier, Enjoy Smart Life: Snapshot Haier". The second stop was a welfare house in Manila.
The assistant director of the welfare house said, "This is the first time that a company has donated home appliances to us. Children will be able to eat fresher food and watch high-definition cartoons on big-screen." the children were so happy about the visit that they choreographed a show to express their appreciation.
In the first half of 2019, Haier Philippines completed 112% of its target sales volume, 30% year on year growth, sales of high-end products such as self-cleaning air conditioners and humid-dry box fridge creates new record. Kitchen appliances market sales year-on-year growth was 98%, achieving double growth. Six of Philippines' seven major sales channels cooperated with Haier, making Haier mainstream brand in core sales channels. Haier actively practices on corporate social responsibility, creating healthy life for local users with strength and warmth.
